He owns a three-story building that houses Rikasa, his restaurant. One day, the idea came to fruition for him to add a rooftop bar/lounge to his restaurant. --- > *“Basically, I have a 12-month facility here that I can utilize, which makes me extremely excited”* > > #### — Rob F. --- Rob was looking at purchasing a tent to add to his rooftop, but then realized the tent would not hold up due to strong winds in Pennsylvania. He then stumbled upon two companies: Pergola Roof and Struxure. After speaking with the representatives at Pergola Roof, he realized that the quality of the product was exceptionally superior. He mentions that the thickness of the metal, the way the louvers function, the overall strength of the system, and the option of adding sliding glass panels made it obvious that Pergola Roof was his best choice.  ### Design Stage ![1-Dec-08-2022-08-30-17-3306-PM](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/1-Dec-08-2022-08-30-17-3306-PM.jpg) Save After speaking with his engineers and the team at Pergola Roof, they both determined that the Louvered Roof Pergola with sliding glass panels would be the best fit for what he was looking for. With the system that he chose, he essentially created a fully functional fourth floor for his restaurant and building. ![rikasa-pittston-pennsylvania-louvered-pergola-sliders-1920 (1)](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/rikasa-pittston-pennsylvania-louvered-pergola-sliders-1920%20(1).jpg) Save His pergola was installed in October, so he wasn't able to open up the louvers or open up the sliding glass panels due to the cold, but he states that it didn't really make a difference. He loved the idea of having people on top of the roof during the cold weather, which made his restaurant an attraction to the public. ![rikasa-pittston-pennsylvania-louvered-pergola-sliders-1200 (4)](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/rikasa-pittston-pennsylvania-louvered-pergola-sliders-1200%20(4).jpg) Save ![rikasa-pittston-pennsylvania-louvered-pergola-sliders-1200](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/rikasa-pittston-pennsylvania-louvered-pergola-sliders-1200.jpg) Save ![rikasa-pittston-pennsylvania-louvered-pergola-sliders-1200 (3)](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/rikasa-pittston-pennsylvania-louvered-pergola-sliders-1200%20(3).jpg) Save --- ## Features ![All seasons](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/Pergolaroof_Aug20222/Images/Seasons.png) Save All seasons ![Dimmable LED lights](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/Pergolaroof_Aug20222/Images/Light+Bulb.png) Save Dimmable LED lights ![Blackout or translucent](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/Pergolaroof_Aug20222/Images/Sun+Shield.png) Save Blackout or translucent ![Remote controlled](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/Pergolaroof_Aug20222/Images/Remote+Control.png) Save Remote controlled ![Watertight](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/Pergolaroof_Aug20222/Images/Water+Drop+Shield.png) Save Watertight ![Resists bad weather](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/Pergolaroof_Aug20222/Images/Cloud.png) Save Resists bad weather --- ![Before-and-After Product Shots (3)](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/Before-and-After%20Product%20Shots%20(3).jpg) Save Rob is extremely excited and in love with the idea of having a twelve month facility that he can now utilize. He mentioned that New Year's Eve is coming up, and he is delighted about having a big party on the rooftop without having to worry about whether or not the weather is going to cooperate. He is happy with choosing Pergola Roof, because he now has this beautiful space with spectacular views of the Susquehanna River in downtown Pittston.  ![rikasa-pittston-pennsylvania-louvered-pergola-sliders-1920 (2)](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/rikasa-pittston-pennsylvania-louvered-pergola-sliders-1920%20(2).jpg "rikasa-pittston-pennsylvania-louvered-pergola-sliders-1920 (2)") --- ## Let us price your project... ![Korkis louvered pergola black led glass](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/PergolaRoof_August2022/Images/Korkis-louvered-pergola-black-led-glass-1920.jpg) Save ![Hanover louvered room slider](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/PergolaRoof_August2022/Images/Hanover-louvered-room-slider-screen-led-1920.jpg) Save ![White retractable pergola](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/PergolaRoof_August2022/Images/white-retractable-pergola-1920-1.jpg) Save ![Pergola sukkah succos fallsburg newyork](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/PergolaRoof_August2022/Images/pergola-sukkah-succos-fallsburg-newyork-1920.jpg) Save ![Elsie rooftop 1412 Broadway nyc](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/PergolaRoof_August2022/Images/Elsie-rooftop-1412-Broadway-nyc-1920+(1).jpg) Save ![Louvered pergola slider deal newjersey](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/PergolaRoof_August2022/Images/louvered-pergola-slider-deal-newjersey-1920.jpg) Save --- ## Other Projects   ## Related Systems ![LOUVER - LOUVERED ROOF](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/Pergolaroof_Aug20222/Images/louvered-pergola-deal-poolside-1920-1.jpg) Save LOUVER - LOUVERED ROOF ![SCREEN - MOTORIZED SHADE](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/Pergolaroof_Aug20222/Images/louvered-pergola-screen-queens-1200.jpg) Save SCREEN - MOTORIZED SHADE ![GUILLOTINE - VERTICALLY SLIDING WINDOW](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/Pergolaroof_Aug20222/Images/louvered-pergola-guillotine-wesport-1200.jpg) Save GUILLOTINE - VERTICALLY SLIDING WINDOW ## Subscribe Sign up with your email address to receive news and updates.
