Alex and Christine Gould were contemplating what to do with the open space in their backyard. They were looking for a way to block out the sun so that they could do more outdoor activities with their family and friends. Their designer approached them with one of Pergola Roof's brochures, and they were blown away by it.

Now the Gould’s love having additional space outside where they can lounge and enjoy a meal without being roasted by the sun all year. Alex mentions that they are excited about adding a dining room table inside their pergola so they can have multiple meals without having to worry about the natural elements such as bugs and weather.
Alex and Christine decided to opt for a custom colored Louvered Pergola. Pergola Roof offers the option to choose any color listed on the RAL scale for the aluminum structure. They ended up choosing a bright orange color which added a gorgeous pop of color to their backyard space.
Some of their favorite features are the sliding glass doors and the dimmable LED lights. Alex states that the doors add a great in/out feel to them. They never used their backyard at night, but now with the lights inside the pergola, they can use their outdoor space even when it's dark outside.
