If you are from the Washington D.C. area, you should be familiar with Air Restaurant and Lounge. Located in the heart of D.C., Air is well known for its sumptuous brunches and late night party scene.
With Air’s growing popularity, the owner was looking for a way to increase his square footage and provide a VIP area for specially invited guests. With that in mind he turned to Pergola Roof to give him the extra space he needed.
He decided on a motorized retractable pergola that includes a semi-translucent awning that lets the natural light in while keeping the elements out. The pergola also includes dimmable LED lights that easily transitioned the space from day-time to evening.
In total the installation took approximately three weeks, which saved the owner not only time but also money. Upon reopening, expectant customers stood shoulder to shoulder to experience the atmosphere of the newly refurbished Air.
Air's guests can now enjoy the beautiful ambiance of the restaurant all year round, while Air has gained over 700 square feet of space, allowing for more customers to visit his restaurant in comfort and style.
