He was welcomed into his friend's pergola from Pergola Roof, and from that moment he knew he needed one for his outdoor space. He desired to utilize his rooftop space in Manhattan, and a Pergola Roof solution was the perfect fit for his needs. --- > *“It’s a lot of value. I feel like it adds value to your building. Aside from being something that’s just a great thing to have, whether you’re > in a house or building”* > > #### — ELI Y. --- Before Yedid had a Pergola, the usage of his rooftop space was bleak. He struggled to take full advantage of his rooftop space and could only enjoy it while the weather was nice. He quickly decided on Pergola Roof's insulated Louvered Pergola with air conditioning and heat installed. His louvered pergola enables him to enjoy the sun while basking in a perfectly regulated temperature. He mentioned his new outdoor structure adds a great deal of value to his building, and it creates a lot of recreational space for family and friends. ### Design Stage ![Design stage](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/PergolaRoof_August2022/Images/design+stage+image.jpg) Save Getting started on his project, Pergola Roof referenced a finished Pergola that was installed nearby Yedid's residence. Pergola Roof began by reinforcing his rooftop with steel construction in order to deliver the stability needed to start the installation process. ![Eli louvered roof](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/PergolaRoof_August2022/Images/eli-louvered-roof-1200-2.jpg) Save ![Eli louvered roof](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/PergolaRoof_August2022/Images/eli-louvered-roof-1200-1.jpg) Save ![Eli louvered roof](https://pergolaroof.com/hubfs/PergolaRoof_August2022/Images/eli-louvered-roof-1200-3.jpg) Save Yedid started off his project just wanting one roof section, but conclusively decided on two for his family.
